Matured in American oak barrels for more than eight years, and finished in ruby Port pipes for two years, this Speyside single malt from Glenallachie is a vibrant, fruity whisky with complex spice throughout the palate – notes of raisins, apricots, butterscotch, treacle and honey mingle with dark chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg and crystalised ginger.
